Nestled in the Ozarks of Missouri, our farms produce and process the finest rare botanical products for a healing lifestyle.
True Rose Herbs is a start-up company in Bolivar, MO, stemming out of the True farming family that has owned, farmed, and taught in the Southwest Missouri region since the civil war period. Many of the herbs used are wild-crafted and sustainably grown on the family farms. All herbs are collected, certified and tested locally through our cooperation with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
When Herbs are not grown yet or available on the farm, they come from high quality, sustainably sourced herbal suppliers.

With a fabulous talent for making seductive herbal formulas, a natural eye towards healing matters, and drive to succeed, founder Sarah Rose True-Mulligan had over 20 years in the healing arts before forming True Rose Herbs. She discovered her passion in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2016. With a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology to build on, she is in her last year of completing the MSOM of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am alive today because of TCM,. What better way to honor that than help you find balance too.
There is no idiopathic. There is always a reason, we just have to know how to find it. The body is one amazing creation in which it truly is all connected.

Sarah knows she wouldn’t get a fraction of the things done she wants to if it wasn’t for her awesome crew. Frank Mulligan heads up our herb department, helping us find new clients in need of formulation services when he’s not hitting the garden himself. Claire keeps our farmers working while developing awesome new crafts. James leads our exceptional builder support team when he’s not making a new batch of award-winning dinosaur ale.
Even if this a far stretch from reality, I love my little crew. I have so much support from my family to study, work hard, and pursue this dream of providing quality, pesticide free, locally sourced herbs, formulas, and healthcare products to help you balance life.
